[THIS IS NOT ME...]

went to Whistler on the 18th and came back on the 19th for Ian·A, Elfrida's birthday!
Happy 2? birthday.
we played the mountain bikes, canoes and taiwan mj... i got injured in ALL activities.

[BIRTHDAY girl - Elfrida Hahn HER MAJESTY]
Queen Elfrida had a great night. She claimed her night by conquering 3 men on the mj table, now as known as "The Whistler MahJong Massacre"... it was a bloodshed indeed
Once again, Happy ?2 Birthday.

[HEADCHEF - SIR Ian "Iron-Chef" Chan]
He definitely was the man of the night. "Many-Clam" CHOWER, "Spice-up appetite" SALAD, "Super tasty" PRAWNS, CANTALOPE-HAM-shire, and "STEAK with Leo." was the menu (did i miss sth?). I bet such menu would cost at least $50 pp at some fancy restaurants... however we managed to enjoy them at a much lower price, honour goes to our Iron Chef.
I have those food preparation clips in mpeg but I don't know how to link it to xanga... if you know plz tell me.

[lieutanent chef - monsieur Eddie Mo]
An industrious assistant to HEADCHEF, hardworking human dishwasher and a 21-year-old dude who hasn't quitted drinking milk (everyday).

Leo, me, was the clown of the trip. Performed some jackass stunts on bike trail; involuntarily got stuck in bushes when canoe-ing; and got blood-drained on mj table. But indeed, all "injuries" were nothing when one can enjoy fun activities and beautiful scenery together. Let's do it again!

Today, July 23, went for a hair-cut. Finally I realized that my medium-long hair was more of a nuisance than a style.

I went to a hair salon called X¯« at Crystal Mall... and I swear it's the last time in my life I'd ever step my foot in that store.
Only women and David Beckham would stay in a hair salon for 3+ hours, and unluckily today I became one of them.
The stylist probably wanted to show-off his fantastic multi-tasking skill by having 4 to 5 customers at a time... it definitely brought alot more business to the saloon, but me the small-spender of the group would always be the first one to ignore among those big-spending Spa-Madams.

FYI as well, that salon so called ¬üX, their hair-washing ladies aren't that ¬ü... also they don't cut their nails...

JULY 4, 2004 - FINALLY 22, joie de vivre.
Spent a quality afternoon-evening with friends. Euro04 final (what a bummer...), lunch, bowling, Fahrenheit 9/11, dinner and snooker was the schedule. Unlike most people, I only asked a few friends out. Maybe I'm not that as popular or having as many friends as they do... but numbers played no role on that day, it's whom you spent with, that's important. Pardon me for not calling you friends, but you're more like brothers and sisters to me. [Yeah I stole that quote from somewhere...] Thank you.
I guess I will keep this party size as a tradition for the future. Having 10+ or even 20+ friends for a ordinary dude's birthday nowadays should be considered as luxury... you know: family, health, school, work, other friends, money, etc, etc, etc. You're not always ranked top on your friends' priority list, so no use to worry too much.
I haven't had party involving 20+ people for a long time, but I'd like to have it some time in the future... perhaps the next time I will have it for my 50-or-60-year-young's. Would you like to make a reservation for that now, my friends?

<The Da Vinci Code> is a great NOVEL. Rumors say that the book has created some shocks, particularly among Christians. What the NOVEL mentioned I shall not disclose, and not that I can disclose any because some concepts are not easy to understand; I think only if you're a devoted Christians should you understand the details, for an atheist like me, it's a NOVEL afterall. *~*

Listen, read and speak with an unbiased mind.

3 months without a blog is shameful... what's wrong with me?

it's 2004 which means it's the year for Euro Champs. ppl's favourites are no other than france, england, italy, holland... they're all strong teams so there's no surprise for them to win... but i'd rather seeing some unusual favourites like the sweds and czechs to shock the world, and seeing those millionaire soccer superstars leaving the field in disgrace and tears. - i'm not jealous of the soccer stars wealth nor their hot wives; but it's the case that people fancy David the shepherd to kill Goliath the Giant more than the other way round.

 < Tomas Rosicky - Czech #10 >
Watch this guy, dutches and germans, he'll be the reason why your wives/gfs are leaving you...

 < Pavel Nedved - Czech #11 >
... and this guy will be the reason why you can book your early-bird flight ticket home.

BIG FISH - starring Ewan McGregor & Albert Finney.

Which do you prefer - the truth or the beautified version of things? Do you think the deeper you dig into the truth, the more superficial and less sentimental you are?
It's a story about a fairy-tale-telling father and a seemingly-sensible-but-rather-stubborn son... not very fair that it didn't win any big academy prize at this quality so i bought this DVD as a support, and here i recommend it to you.

so many friends are leaving for their careers and it sorta brought up some weird feelings. when the first one was leaving it felt bad for not being able to see or talk to him that closely any more; when the second one was leaving it made me hate staying in this boring city, thinking maybe it's time to have a trip or sth; when the third one was leaving, people started asking about when my graduation would be, "oh yeah, that's what i should be worrying about..." it'll be soon, as soon as i finish my 2nd degree.

i think i still have the energy and time to pursue a higher "status-quo"... i just don't want to regret in the future, realizing i should've done what i may not have done now.

Shena Ringo announced that she will no longer produce (as a composer, lyricist, singer and arranger) in her name, because she believes it's time for her individualistic career to end. Instead she will be forming a group, named Tokyo JiHend - "Tokyo Crisis"...

... with this dude.

two brains are better than one; but there's time when the smartest person underestimates the power of stupid people in large group...

p-i-t-y~

ciao
